Join. Lead. Grow.

Being in the lead feels good. Join ASID and strengthen your position! How? If you are currently enrolled in an interior design program that requires at least 40 credit hours or 60 quarter hours of interior design coursework to graduate, you’re eligible to be a part of the largest and most diverse interior design organization in the world. Students at schools where an ASID student chapter exists may join as a student chapter member; students at other schools may join as an independent student member.

Membership is available to students currently enrolled in an interior design or interior architecture program that requires at least 40 credit hours of design-related classwork to graduate.

Eligible ASID Student Members may advance to Allied Membership upon graduation.

Application Process

Applicants should complete the application and send it back with all relevant work experience forms and transcripts. ASID will not accept applications that are not complete. The application process may also be done online if the applicant has all work experience forms and transcripts available in electronic format.

The correct use of the ASID appellation supports the value of membership. All members agree to follow specific guidelines, including the use of the Society’s name when identifying themselves to the public.
